What is the Day Report?

It’s a view that summarizes everything a courier did in a day: how many packages they delivered, how many they didn’t, how much money they collected, what pickups they did, and a chronological timeline with every action.

It replaces the old “My Deliveries” with a much more complete view, and includes a version for supervisors to see any courier’s day.

Who can access it?

RoleAccess
CourierSees only their own report
Admin / Manager / Super-adminSees any courier’s report
CustomerDoesn’t have access to this module

How do I access it?

If I’m a courier

  • Option 1: the old “My Deliveries” link still works — it automatically redirects you to your report.
  • Option 2: from your user profile, open the “Day report” section.

If I’m a supervisor

There are three ways to reach a courier’s report:

  1. From the Couriers Dashboard: click any row in the table → it takes you to that courier’s report.
  2. From the courier’s User profile: open the “Day report” tab.
  3. From the COD Report: click the courier’s name in the table.

Choosing the day

By default the report shows today (in your organization’s timezone). To see a different day:

  • Use the date picker at the top
  • Only calendar-day format is allowed (no time)

💡 Today’s data is updated every 2 minutes. Data for previous days is updated less frequently (every 5 minutes to 1 hour depending on age). This is deliberate so the system doesn’t get overloaded.

What do I see in the report?

1. KPIs (top cards)

KPIMeaning
AssignedHow many orders had activity during the day (assigned, updated, or delivered)
DeliveredHow many were successfully completed
Not deliveredDifference between assigned and delivered
Assigned pickupsHow many pickups were given to the courier
Completed pickupsHow many pickups they finished
Average delivery timeAverage time between creating the order and delivering it (in hours)
Last deliveryTime they closed out the last package

2. COD Card (if enabled)

If your organization has the COD module enabled, you’ll also see:

  • COD collected grouped by currency
  • A “View in COD Report” button (supervisors only) that takes you to the full report filtered by this courier and this day

If you don’t have the COD module active or don’t have permission to see it, this card doesn’t appear.

3. Activity timeline

Chronological feed (most recent at the top) with every action the courier took during the day:

Event typeMeaning
📦 Order assignedA new order was given to them
✅ Order deliveredThey closed out a delivery
🔄 Status changedMoved the order to another intermediate status (e.g., “On the way”)
📥 Pickup assignedA pickup was given to them
🎯 Pickup completedFinished a pickup

Each event shows:

  • Exact time
  • The order’s tracking number or the pickup number (clickable, leads to the detail view)
  • Status it moved to (if applicable)
  • Name of the previous status and the new one

4. Day’s order list

Table with all orders that had activity during the day. Each row shows:

  • Tracking number
  • Recipient and address
  • Current status (color-coded)
  • Delivery time (if applicable)
  • COD amount (if applicable)
  • Payment status

Tracking numbers are clickable and open the order’s full detail view.

5. Day’s pickup list

Similar table for pickups:

  • Pickup number (clickable)
  • Associated recipient
  • Pickup address
  • Status
  • Completion time

Export to Excel

“Export XLSX” button in the top-right corner. It generates a file with 4 sheets:

SheetContains
SummaryThe KPIs in table format
OrdersFull list of the day’s orders
PickupsFull list of the day’s pickups
ActivityThe full chronological timeline

The file name includes the courier’s name and the date.

Export permissions:

  • If you’re the courier viewing your own report → you can export.
  • If you’re a supervisor you need the corresponding reports-module permission. Ask your Admin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don’t the KPIs match what I remember about the day?

The report counts activity within the day’s window in your organization’s timezone. An order created the previous day but delivered today shows up as “delivered today.” An order created today but delivered tomorrow shows up as “assigned today” but not “delivered today.”

The timeline doesn’t show something I know happened

The timeline is built from the system’s change history. If an action was logged outside the normal flows (for example, adjustments made by the support team), it might not appear.

Also check that you’re viewing the right day and that the change actually happened within that day’s window.

Why don’t I see the COD card?

Three possible reasons:

  1. Your organization doesn’t have the COD module enabled. Ask your Admin to enable it under Organization → System.
  2. You don’t have permission to see COD data. Ask your Admin to check your role.
  3. The courier didn’t collect anything that day — the card might show zero totals or not appear at all.

The “View in COD Report” button doesn’t show up for me

You need an additional permission to see the global COD report. Couriers normally don’t have it because they’d see other senders’ data.

Why is there a difference between the COD in the day report and the COD the courier sees in their app?

There shouldn’t be one — both views use exactly the same formula. If you see a difference, check:

  • That both are looking at the same day (the organization’s timezone is what governs this)
  • That the courier didn’t have orders stuck in intermediate statuses

If they still don’t match, report it to the support team.

How long is the information kept?

Indefinitely. You can look up day reports from months or years ago. Older data is updated less frequently to optimize performance.

Can I view a future day’s report?

Yes, but it will be empty because there’s no activity yet. The picker doesn’t prevent choosing future dates.

What happens with orders that were reassigned to another courier?

The report shows orders currently assigned to the courier you’re viewing. If an order was reassigned today from Peter to John:

  • It appears in John’s report (it’s the current assignment)
  • It does NOT appear in Peter’s report, even though Peter had it that day

The timeline does reflect the reassignment as an event.

Compatibility with “My Deliveries”

The old “My Deliveries” dashboard was replaced but the link still works: it automatically redirects you to your personal report. You don’t need to update bookmarks or old links in emails.
