# Frequently Asked Questions — Courier Onboarding

### Who can use this module?

Users with permission to manage couriers (usually admins and managers). If you don't see the **Onboarding → Couriers** option in the menu, ask your organization's administrator for access.

### Can the person who signs up log into the app right away?

No. When someone signs up they're left **pending**: their account is created but they have **no access** until your team **activates** it. Only once activated do they receive their credentials and can log in.

### What password does the courier use?

None that they choose on the form. The system generates a **temporary password** and emails it upon approval, along with their email and your organization's address. It's recommended they change it after logging in.

### I made a mistake and rejected someone. Can I undo it?

The rejection is final for that request. The person can **sign up again** with the same link and you review them again.

### I deactivated a courier by mistake. Can I recover them?

Yes. Go to their detail view and click **Reactivate**: it restores access and resends the credentials.

### If I regenerate the link, what happens to the QR posters I already printed?

They stop working. **Regenerating invalidates the old link**, so only do it if you truly need to invalidate the old one (for example, if it leaked). To temporarily close signups without invalidating anything, use **Pause enrollment**.

### What's the difference between Pause and Regenerate?

- **Pause enrollment**: temporarily closes signups. Printed posters work again when you resume.
- **Regenerate**: creates a new link and **permanently invalidates the old one**. Printed posters become unusable.

### How do I find out a new request came in?

An **email notice** arrives at your organization's email every time someone signs up, with the applicant's details and a button to review requests.

### Can I ask for a photo of the ID document or the vehicle?

Yes. In **"Configure form"**, add a field of type **Image**. The person will be able to upload the photo when signing up, and you'll see it in their request's detail view, in the **Documents** section.

### How do I know if the courier received their credentials email?

On the courier's detail view you'll see a **delivery status**: it tells you whether the email was delivered or failed. If it failed, use **"Resend notification"**.

### Can I find out who approved or rejected a courier?

Yes. In the detail view, the **Decision history** shows every step (signup, approval, rejection, deactivation, reactivation) with who did it, the date, and the reason. It's ideal for audits.

### What information does the form ask for by default?

Name and Email (required), Phone and ID document (optional). You can adjust all of this from **"Configure form"**: add fields, remove them, or mark them as required.

### Does it work for registering roles other than couriers?

Yes. The module is designed for any bulk sign-up of people who will later use the app: couriers, drivers, and also **customers** (each with their own configurable form). Share the QR code at the sign-up point and approve from the pending queue.
