What is Sistrack Network?
Sistrack Network connects your organization with partner companies to share orders in both directions:
- Outsource: you send an order to your partner so they make the delivery. The order stays visible in your dashboard, and your partner’s progress (statuses, photo, signature, who received it) is reflected automatically.
- Receive: your partner sends you orders for you to deliver. You work them like any of your own orders, and your progress is reflected automatically in your partner’s dashboard.
Each company keeps its own order numbering: the same order exists in both dashboards, each with its own number, and the system maintains the link between the two.
The connection with a partner company is set up by the Sistrack team as part of the agreement between both organizations. If you’re interested in adding a partner, contact support.
The network dashboard
In the side menu, go to Sistrack Network. You’ll see:
Counters
| Counter | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Sent | Your orders that are already in a partner’s hands |
| Received | Orders a partner sent you to deliver |
| Pending | Orders marked to outsource that are still queued to send |
| Failed | Orders whose send to the partner didn’t complete and need attention |
The orders table
Each row shows the order, its network status, the partner (the partner company), the linked numbers on both sides, and the date. You can filter by status using the counters.
Outsourcing configuration
In the same dashboard you’ll see a summary of how your organization is configured:
- Role in the network: whether your organization sends orders, receives them, or both.
- Target partner: which partner company your orders are sent to.
- Send mode:
- Full — every new order is outsourced automatically.
- Partial — only orders from certain geographic zones, or ones you mark manually, are outsourced.
- Sender privacy: if enabled, your partner sees a generic sender instead of your customer’s real data.
These settings are part of the agreement with your partner. If you need to change them (for example, adding or removing zones from partial mode), contact support.
Outsourcing an order manually
- Open the order and expand the actions menu.
- Click Outsource order.
- Confirm in the dialog. You’ll see the message “Order queued for sync”.
- In a few moments the order will show the label Sent to [partner].
You can also outsource from the network dashboard using the Outsource button on each row.
Orders that can’t be outsourced
- Agency orders: shipments dropped off or picked up at a counter in your own agency network can’t be outsourced — that package is handled at your counters from start to finish. If you try, the system will let you know.
- Already outsourced orders: an order that’s already with a partner isn’t sent twice.
- Orders received from a partner: if a partner sent you the order, you can’t re-send it to the network.
Network labels on your orders
In the orders list you’ll see the Network column, and in each order’s detail a label next to the status:
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Sent to [partner] | The order is in your partner’s hands; their progress is reflected automatically |
| Received from [partner] | Your partner sent it to you; deliver it like any of your own orders |
| Pending sync | Marked to outsource, queued to send |
| Sync failed | The send to the partner didn’t complete — check it in the network dashboard |
Tracking an outsourced order
As your partner moves the delivery forward, your order updates itself: the status, delivery date, photo, signature, and the name of who received it appear in your order’s detail, as if you had delivered it yourself.
Two important things:
- Whoever delivers controls the status. While the order is outsourced, you can’t change its status from your dashboard — the company holding the package is the source of truth. You can still edit the order’s other data.
- Your customer doesn’t get duplicate notifications. Whoever makes the delivery is who notifies the recipient; your dashboard reflects the progress without sending emails or messages again.
Correcting an order that’s already with your partner
If your customer tells you about an error — the address, a contact detail, the amount to collect — correct it in your dashboard like any other order: the correction travels automatically and your partner’s courier works with the new data.
The amount to collect has a nuance: it can be corrected while the order is in transit, but once delivered it no longer changes, because the charge to the recipient has already happened.
Who can correct what depends on who originated the shipment. This is explained in Which data each company controls.
Each company sees statuses under its own names
Your organization and your partner don’t need to have the same status list: each keeps its own. When an order’s progress travels between the two, the system automatically translates it to the equivalent status on each side — if your partner marks the delivery, your dashboard shows the order with your delivered status and the recorded delivery date, even if you call that step by different names.
If a partner’s progress update has no equivalent status in your organization, your order simply keeps the last known status (and it still receives the rest of the information, like photos or notes). The mapping between both organizations’ statuses is set up when they’re connected; if you notice a status isn’t reflecting as expected, contact support to adjust it.
Orders received from a partner
Orders a partner sends you arrive in your list with the label Received from [partner] and are worked just like your own: you assign a courier, log events, deliver with photo and signature. Your progress is reflected automatically in your partner’s dashboard.
Keep in mind:
- The shipment data isn’t yours to correct. The address, the recipient’s contact info, and the amount to collect are controlled by the partner who originated the order: if you edit them, the change doesn’t reach them, and their version replaces yours when they make a correction. If your courier finds the address is wrong, log it on the order and let them know — details in Which data each company controls.
- The sender may show generic data if your partner protects their customers’ privacy.
- The freight payment status is independent for each company: what your partner charges their customer doesn’t mix with your billing.
- If your organization has a rate configured for network orders, each received order arrives with that rate assigned and with the amount to collect from the recipient as declared by your partner — your couriers see it in their app just like on any other cash-on-delivery order. If your partner corrects that amount before delivery, it updates automatically.
When a send fails
If an order marked for outsourcing fails to reach the partner (for example, due to a connection issue), it will show up in the Failed counter of the network dashboard.
- Go to Sistrack Network and filter by Failed.
- Review the order and click Retry (or open the order and use Outsource order again).
- If the retry works, the order moves to Sent to [partner] and disappears from failed.
If an order fails repeatedly, contact support: there may be a configuration issue between the two organizations.
